What an exciting April!

It was quite a month in April.  More and more people sign up for authorize.net each month.  It is such a great service for photographers who want to process credit cards online or use credit cards without having to worry about using a terminal.

Can’t wait to see what May has in store and look forward to helping photographers with their credit card processing needs!!

New Iphone Swiper for photographers

For those of you that have to have a swiper solution on the go we have finally brokered a deal for you. Buy the Iphone Swiper Here and contact us to get you set up.

This is a real processing account with all the benefits and safety of a traditional credit card processing account. Square is not such a solution. Square is not a true credit card processing platform, its made for individuals running garage sales, not businesses that need the benefits of accounts made for business.

Reasons not to go with the square.

Recovering From WPPI

What an amazing  week that was.  Many great presenters and photographs.  I was able to meet a few clients which was great.  I also was able to see a few clients receive rewards for their photographs.  I think I saw at least 3 or 4 of Susan Stripling Photography with awards, so congrats to her and all of the other photographers who won awards.

It was also nice to see my clients A & A Photography’s platform class and Ben Chrisman spoke as well at one of the booth’s.  New client  Bauman Photography also had an impressive class and used his new credit card processing terminal to run all of his credit cards.

I also had a chance to stop by my partners Shoot Q and Red Carts booth as they were signing up many new clients along with brand new client GoBee as they were selling boxes full of their great bags to happy customers.

There are already 10 applications in from after the show and looking forward to taking care of the rest of you all who are signing up. Now back to work to catch up.

New Twitter Landing Page

I just customized the landing page to be a little more stylish than the stock one given to you by twitter.  I have also added a Twitter Status up by my bio.  Friend us if you are a client or want updates.  I don’t just twitter about credit card stuff, anything photography related hints, tips, and other things I run across.

PPA Professional Photographers Of Colorado

I was invited to speak at PPOFC Professional Photographers of Colorado about credit card processing.  I discussed Tiered Pricing vs.  Cost Plus pricing which we use.  I also talked about the best places to get credit card processing.  Many merchants and photographers still believe they will get the best deal from their bank.  In reality this is the worst place to get a merchant account. When a merchant contacts us for a free quote and mentions they are with a major bank, we know that we are going to be able to save the merchant money. We talked about some of the solutions that photographers are often using in there businesses including using Contact Management Systems Like ShootQ.

I had a great time meeting many of you and look forward to talking with you in the coming week.

ShootQ Bowling at Imaging USA

Well the teams are set and the bets have been laid out.  Can’t wait to have some fun with the guys and gals from ShootQ.  Nashville is going to be a lot of fun.  Looks like some pretty tough competition from the photography world at this event.  I can’t wait to meet those of you that are signed up with us through Shootq and those that are thinking about signing up with us for credit card processing.

Game on, and see you there.

PickPic and Authorize.net

This is the time of year when a lot of photographers have time to look at the products they use to run their business as well as sell to clients.  In the last few weeks, I have gotten a lot of calls for authorize.net accounts to integrate with PickPic.  PickPic is a great cart with a lot of options for professional photographers.  The customer service and product are second to none and are what you have come to expect from White House Custom Color.  If you just bought a PickPic cart and want the best rates on your credit card processing as well as great setup fee give us a call.

A few reasons to contact us first and not just authorize.net

1.  Our setup is cheaper

2.  Our processing rates are going to be cheaper

3.  You will get our customer service as well as authorize.net

No contracts (cancel if you find a better rate)

Low setup and application fee

Best rates in the business
