I just customized the landing page to be a little more stylish than the stock one given to you by twitter. I have also added a Twitter Status up by my bio. Friend us if you are a client or want updates. I don’t just twitter about credit card stuff, anything photography related hints, tips, and other things I run across.
I was invited to speak at PPOFC Professional Photographers of Colorado about credit card processing. I discussed Tiered Pricing vs. Cost Plus pricing which we use. I also talked about the best places to get credit card processing. Many merchants and photographers still believe they will get the best deal from their bank. In reality this is the worst place to get a merchant account. When a merchant contacts us for a free quote and mentions they are with a major bank, we know that we are going to be able to save the merchant money. We talked about some of the solutions that photographers are often using in there businesses including using Contact Management Systems Like ShootQ.

At Photography Merchant Systems we don’t pressure our clients into signing up to take other kinds of cards. We want you to get exactly what you need without the pressure. In previous years that meant we were only signing people up for Visa/Mastercard. Visa/Mastercard/Discover are all bundled now. That means we leave American express off unless you specifically ask for it.

I had a photographer call from california today. Excited about his new studio and studio management software studiocloud. He was looking for an authorize.net account to use with studiocloud. So if you have recently purchased or use studiocloud and you are wondering if we can set you up an account the answer is yes. We provide you with the account saving you both money from auth.net as well as lower rates.
Here are a few questions I usually get.
1. Why should I get an auth.net account from you and not go to authorize.net
answer: Our pricing is actually better than what you can get directly from authorize.net. Not only will the setup fee be less the actual rate you will be charged is better.
